Picking the Right Tires in OrlandoPosted May 7, 2017 10:03 AM
Shopping for tires in Orlando can be bewildering because there are many choices. Let's simplify. There are four main classifications of tires, each designed for different purposes.
Next comes winter tires. Orlando people buy winter tires because they still like performance driving when it's cold and slippery on FL roads, so they need a tread design that'll really bite into ice and snow. The rubber compound is formulated to stay pliable when temperatures drop below 45 degrees F/7 degrees C so they get great traction even on dry roads. On the other end of the winter tire spectrum are tires designed to handle well in severe ice and snow conditions.

Being so super thorough. After finding the leaky oil pan and having to fix someone else's mess who had repaired it before, the extra effort and lots of extra time spent two trips and fixed amazing, most places would never have been so meticulous but they always want to do the job the right way and I appreciate that more than words can say, that level of comfort is priceless.
My truck broke down and all I had to do was call and they fixed it in just a couple of hours. They are always super friendly. The pricing is fair and they are honest about the job that needs to be done.
Julio and Nancy are the best most decent honest folks, you're treated great like family. Your car us treated great too the service 10+ they guarantee their work and service. Julio us knowledgeable and very kind to explain. Thank you for taking such good care of my car and me. YOU GUYS ROCK,!!!
Finding a good place to take your car for service and finding a good dentist can be frustrating. I'm glad I found a great place to take my car for repairs and maintenance. Now I just need to find a dentist.
The employees at this business do the job correctly, work quickly with a warranty, and have fair prices
Great place. They go over your vehicle and give you a report on the status of everything on your car. I have had some major repairs done here and will not hesitate to come back.
I have three vehicles that Calderon services for me - a current Hyundai, an older Blazer, and an ooooold Airstream. In all cases, they're just straight up with me! They tell me what needs to be done, what can wait, and what I can do myself to save a few bucks. There has been times they've called to talk me OUT of service I don't need yet. There have been times I've told them to do whatever they need to do... and they call to tell me nothing needs to be done! The only "con" I've found is that they do charge a premium for parts - basically List vs Retail - but in the context of what they've saved me (knowing they're only doing what NEEDS to get done), I'll gladly pay for their expertise - which is why you take your vehicle to a mechanic, right?!?!
If you want a Mechanic you can trust with your eyes closed, CARS is the work shop your looking for. They are like no other, honest, reliable, trustworthy, you name it they have it. He strives for excellence. He goes the extra mile to put a everlasting smile on your face. I would not go to another mechanic in all of Florida, and thatsays A LOT. Trust me, you're in goooood hands.
Great shop! I will use them in the future.
